What the AI Career Chat does
- Remembers your jobs, skills, goals, STAR stories, job tracker and occupation matches across every session.
- Gives career advice grounded in Australian context, including government roles, ANZSCO occupation codes and the local job market.
- Writes a complete resume from your conversation and saves it to your account as an editable Word (.docx) file.
- Lets you name each resume and add a version label, so you can keep separate versions for different roles.
- Keeps you in control: view, edit or delete everything it remembers, or erase all AI memory in one click.

AI Career Chat — frequently asked questions
What is the AI Career Chat on ProfessionalResume.au?+
The AI Career Chat is a Pro feature of ProfessionalResume.au, an Australian AI career platform. It is a chat with an AI career adviser that already knows your jobs, skills, goals, STAR stories and job applications, so you can ask for personalised career advice and then turn the conversation into a finished resume.
Can AI write my resume from a chat?+
Yes. In the AI Career Chat you describe the role you are aiming for, and the AI writes a complete resume from your saved career profile and what you discussed. You can edit the text, give the resume a name and a version label such as "v2", and save it as a Word (.docx) file to your Resumes page.
Will the AI make up experience on my resume?+
It is instructed to use only facts from your career profile and your chat, and never to invent employers, dates, qualifications or results. AI can still make mistakes, so you review and edit the resume before saving it and check every fact before you apply.
How much does the AI Career Chat cost?+
The AI Career Chat is included in the ProfessionalResume.au Pro plan, which costs $19.95 AUD per month. You can start free with the ATS scanner and other free tools, and cancel Pro at any time.
Does the AI remember me between sessions?+
Yes. The AI Career Chat saves short notes about your goals and preferences, for example "wants roles in Perth". You can see, edit and delete everything it remembers on your Career Profile page, and a single button deletes all AI memory and chat history.
